Anyway, I digress.
The hubs and I along with Diana, my mother-in-law, and her friend Scott loaded up bright and early and headed North. Why? To pick up the half of a cow we bought and had butchered that's why. Now, I knew that a quarter of a cow was a lot of beef, but I had NO IDEA of how much it reeeaallly was. We have enough beef to feed two families, maybe more. For a year, at least.
Now, if we can just get our garden to make, we should hardly have to go the grocery store!
Oh, and plan on us having a cookout or two, or three, or four. You're all invited! Bring sides!
I haven't posted a picture in a while and this may get me into trouble, but here is a picture of Justin eating at the fair. He's eating pork, but whatever.

Oh, girl. You know I've heard of Bokchito. Who hasn't? Nice pork sandwich, Justin. That reminds me....I need to hop over to his blog. Maybe find some more farming tips.
